Join Wiley Cash for a virtual 4-week, in-depth workshop on the history of Southern Literature with particular focus on craft elements. We'll read and discuss iconic works of Southern fiction by writers like Flannery O'Connor, Zora Neale Hurston, Charles W. Chesnutt, and William Faulkner, as well as contemporary authors like Ernest J. Gaines, Jill McCorkle and Brad Watson. Each workshop will close with an exercise to get you writing on your own while using that day's lessons. We'll meet from 3:00-4:30 p.m. on Sundays, November 3, 10, 17 & 24. All sessions will be recorded and shared for participants who cannot attend live.
